The Eisriesenwelt is an ice cave system in the Tennengebirge, and with a total length of 42 km, is considered the largest ice cave in the world.
High above the Salzach Valley, between the Tennen and Hagen mountains, sits the 900-year-old Fortress Hohenwerfen. It is enthroned as a former defensive castle. A worthwhile experience with a good deal of history and culture.
The Liechtensteinklamm (Liechtenstein gorge) is not only one of the most beautiful, but also one of the deepest and longest gorges in the Alps. This enchanting natural phenomenon is well worth a visit.
